Home Cafe Systems
The Home Cafe system is used in Mr. Coffee SL13, Black & Decker GT300 and Krups KP1010 one-cup coffee makers. Of these three, the Krups appears to be the favorite among users. After all, Krups has been around since the 1800s - they should know something about making coffee makers by now!
Krups KP1010 Home Cafe features: 
- Stainless steel lined thermoblock heating pump for optimal pressure and consistent flash heating at the precise temperature for ideal extraction.
- Water filtration cartridge
- Removable 40-oz water tank
- 1-hour, auto shut-off
- Brews up to 18-Oz. Coffee, Latte, Cappucinno or Tea
- D Pod holders: Can brew 1 or 2 black or 1 or 2 creamy per cycle. When brewing 1 pod, brewing is on left side of machine. Pressure on pod is .5 bars.
- Stainless steel finish
- Empty tank detection
- 1350 watts
- Removable stainless steel drip tray
Retail price: Krups KP1010 retails for $120; Pod cost: 26¢ to 35¢ depending on brand and retailer
Pros:

- Cannot control brewing temperature of water (Keurig B60 & B70 187-192 degree range choice)
Cons:
- Can only use 62mm size pods
- High priced at $112 compared with other pod brewers such as Senseo and Melitta
- Not programmable (Keurig B70 is)
- Cannot control brewing temperature of water
