At one time, we refused to use single-cup brewers because we didn't want to be forced to purchase and use only coffee that came in the pre-packaged "pods" and other containers.
But now you can use whatever coffee you like and ground it however you like by using Keurig's "My K-Cups" or make your own pods with a "Perfect Pod Maker" for pod-brewers or even use pods in a Keurig with a Perfect Pod Holster and T-Sacs. There's 100's of pre-packaged varieties from gourmet coffee producers as well so the choices have grown.
